Author Guidelines

The Journal of Animal Republic is dedicated to showcasing original research, critical reviews, short communications, book reviews, brief reports, new records, Animal Database, proceeding, product news, and information on animal production, welfare, disease and management. Our goal is to facilitate a swift review and publishing process, ensuring a rapid turnaround time. The dissemination of these articles is intended to contribute significantly to research, teaching, and reference purposes. For consideration in the Journal of Animal Republic, all manuscripts must be submitted electronically. Upon submission, a unique manuscript number will be assigned to each article, allowing authors to conveniently track the status of their work online. We are committed to advancing knowledge in the field and encourage researchers to share their valuable contributions with the broader scientific community.

Original Research Articles should present the findings of novel research. The content must not have been published elsewhere, except possibly in a preliminary form.

Review Papers should focus on topics within the journal's scope that are of significant current interest.

A Brief Report offers a concise yet comprehensive account of a specific, limited study that will not be expanded upon in a subsequent paper. These reports should be thoroughly documented, with references to existing literature and a detailed description of the methods used, similar to a full-length article. They should not exceed six printed pages (approximately 12 manuscript pages, including figures, tables, and references).

Book Review will feature reviews of relevant books published within the last two years. Reviews will be commissioned by the Book Review Editor, and unsolicited reviews are generally not accepted. However, suggestions for suitable books for review may be directed to the Book Review Editor.

By submitting a manuscript, authors affirm that the described work has not been previously published (except as an abstract, part of a published lecture, or included in a thesis) and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All content published by Journal of Animal Republic is open for reproduction, distribution, transmission, and adaptation, granted that proper acknowledgment is given to the original work and its source through appropriate citation except those which are not open access. We encourage responsible use and dissemination of the knowledge shared in our publications to foster academic progress and innovation.

Plagiarism Policy
Journal of Animal Republic has devised a specific plagiarism policy as per Higher Education Commission (HEC), criteria to promote honest work in academics. As per plagiarism policy, 19% plagiarism is admissible in any submission to the journal. It is more convenient to submit Turnitin report while submitting paper to the journal.

 Article Submission

To expedite the publication process, authors are urged to ensure that their manuscript submissions align with the specified requirements outlined by Journal of Animal Republic at both the initial submission and subsequent revision stages. Each submitted article should include an abstract, distinct from the main text. It is expected to encompass an introduction to the field, a concise account of the background and principles of the work, a statement outlining the main conclusions, and 2-3 sentences contextualizing the primary findings within a broader scope.

Contact Information

Authors are required to provide current telephone and fax numbers, along with their corresponding postal and email addresses, to ensure effective communication throughout the submission and review process

Article Formatting Guidelines

Manuscript title: Titles must be concise, with a limit of 25 words. Avoid using abbreviations, and ensure the title is a brief and descriptive phrase that encapsulates the manuscript's content. Generally, a concise and effective short title for better comprehension.

 Abstract

Informative, complete, and self-explanatory abstract should briefly present the topic and state the scope of the experiments, indicating significant data. It should point out major findings and conclusions. The abstract should summarize the manuscript content. The preferable format should accommodate a description of the brief study background, methods, results, and conclusion.

 Keywords

Subsequent to the abstract, provide a list of 3-8 keywords along with pertinent abbreviations

 Introduction

The introduction should establish the essence of the paper through a compelling research statement. It must incorporate pertinent literature related to the study subject and outline the proposed approach or solution. The introduction should strike a balance, being comprehensive enough to capture the attention of readers across various scientific disciplines.

Materials and Methods

This section should furnish a thorough overview of the study design. It should encompass detailed descriptions of materials or participants, comparisons, interventions, and types of analysis. Procedures from previous publications should be appropriately cited, while new procedures must be elucidated in detail. Any significant modifications to published procedures should be succinctly mentioned. Additionally, capitalize trade names and, if available, provide the manufacturer's name and address

Apparatus and materials

Names of unique proprietary materials and specialized apparatus should be accompanied by the manufacturer's name and address in parentheses (including city and state and/or country). Specific names of these materials need citation only if the work cannot be replicated using alternative means. Utilize capitalized trade names, while avoiding the use of trademark symbols.

Results and Discussion

This section must offer comprehensive details of the experiment necessary to substantiate the study's conclusions. Results and Discussion may be presented together or in distinct sections. Avoid including speculation and in-depth data explanations in the Results section; reserve such information for the dedicated Discussion section. The results and discussion sections may either be presented separately or combined into a single section.

Conclusion

The conclusion summarizes the scientific findings recommended and deemed necessary in the article.

 Acknowledgement

This section encompasses acknowledgments of individuals, and details related to grants and funding etc.

 Ethical Approval

It is recommended to specify the ethical approval and also document the assigned specific number.

 References
Authors are encouraged to primarily refer to the primary source of information. In unavoidable circumstances or when the original article is in a language other than English, secondary sources may be used. The reference list should exclusively include published works or accepted manuscripts. Additionally, authors should furnish an online link for each reference. Ensure adherence to the citation format specified by the Journal of Animal Republic.

Published Papers

Author, W.Z., and Z. W. Author. (2021). Title of the article. Journal Abbreviation. 24(1):01-05.

Books

Author, J. (1996). Book title. Place of publication: publisher. Page numbers for that chapter.

Workshop / Symposium or Conference Proceedings

If a conference paper is subsequently published, either in the proceedings of the conference or in a journal, cite as a chapter in a book or as an article in a journal.

 Dissertation or Thesis

Author, W.Z. (1982). Dissertation/ Thesis title. Degree. University name. 18-19.

Statistical Analysis

Provide sufficient detail in describing statistical methods for result verification. Specify the experimental design, including the number of replications, blocks, or observations. If applicable, mention the computer program used for data analysis. When studying quantitative factors, consider using regression instead of analysis of variance. For qualitative factors, such as cultivar, employ analysis of variance and mean separation tests, clearly stating the procedure and significance level.

 Units of measurement

Authors can publish information using either English or metric units of measure.

 Tables

Tables within manuscripts should be meticulously designed. They must be single-spaced throughout, encompassing headings and footnotes. Each table should reside on a separate page, sequentially numbered, accompanied by a heading and a legend. The tables should be self-explanatory, with details of the experimental methods provided in the legend instead of the main text.

Figures

The recommended file formats for photographic images are .doc and JPEG. If your images include separate components on different layers, kindly provide the Adobe Photoshop files. Ensure that all images are at optimal resolutions and crop the image files as closely as possible to the actual content.

 Numerals

Figures must be labeled with Arabic numerals, and their parts should be denoted with uppercase letters (e.g., Figure 1). Each legend must include a title and provide an ample description to ensure the figure's comprehension without referencing the main text. Avoid duplicating information from the legends in the body of the text.

Equations
When equations cannot be encoded in MathML, please submit them as separate files in TIFF or EPS format. Ensure that each file contains data for only one equation.

 Additional Information

Submit individual elements of the Supplementary Information in a new file and provide thorough explanations for each item. Authors contribution is optional.

 e-Prints
Electronic prints (PDF) will be emailed as an attachment to the corresponding author and are deemed the final version of the manuscript. Except for typographical or clerical errors, no further modifications will be made to the manuscript. Authors will enjoy complimentary electronic access to the full-text article and are welcome to download the PDF file for unlimited printing of their articles.
